Hi folks,

We are currently in the process of changing the site over to https. During the transition, some things are going to look a bit weird (like images). Please be patient until we get them sorted out.

I'll post back here once it's complete.

Hey folks,

So just a status update.

The pages are all now secured with SSL, and will show the green lock at the top of the address bar. Having said that, we are still facing a couple of issues. My web host is aware and is looking at the problem.

1) most of the site icons for posts and such are showing broken URL's. We are aware and working on this issue.
2) I can see that the post formatting tools are also not showing. We will be looking in to this as well.

Also, as Gravatar is not secured by https, I have had to disable that service. I'm bummed about this, but it had to be done.

Okay, I think I have this finished.

If anyone sees anything odd, please let me know. At this point all URL's should be https:// and the page should show as secure in the address bar unless a non-http link gets added to the page.

A bit more time spent today on this. Many of the posts in the KB need to have hard coded http: links updated, so we've started at the top and are slowly working our way through all 120+ KB articles.

I also managed to get the gravatars working again (yay!) but am aware that only the forums are working on mobile (the home page is not, nor is the KB.)

Nice job Ken and thank you for securing the forum :thumb:
