Pivot-Scorecard Automation

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post and I need some help from you all.

I am trying to create an automated task wherein i want the data from the pivot to automatically take the scores from the pivot workbook to another scorecard workbook (See pics as trying to take data from pivot in pic1 and move it to pic 2 scorecard).

The scorecard has to match the employee and the task associated with that employee.

I have an advanced knowledge of excel and beginner level understanding of VBA.

Any help in this matter is appreciated in advance!!

Hi everyone,

After spending a few hours I was able to get what I wanted using the getpivotdata function and created a macro which works great.

My next question is because I get the source pivot data from a generated weekly report which the workbook and sheet is named on the date it was run, the macro throws a run time error.

Is there a way around this to make the macro universal?
