OK so I have this planification sheet on classes and I need to figure out how busy the teachers will be. Here's the data I have:

nb creditsclass will be given onclass will be given again onclass will be given again on
class1teacherA21st trimester 20171st trimester 20181st trimester 2019
class2teacherB32nd trimester 20171st trimester 20182nd trimester 2019
class3teacher A11st trimester 20182nd trimester 20183rd trimester 2019

And the data I'd like to get: (the numbers in the cells are the total of credits in this trimester)
1st trimester 20172nd trimester 20173rd trimester 20171st trimester 2018etc
teacherA2003
teacherB0303

I'm currently using a Pivot Table, but the columns are listed twice (I have put the 'class will be given on', 'class will be given again on', etc. as columns).

I can't seem to regroup them correctly, using the Grouping option. Any hints on how I could achieve this?

Thanks

Hi
please post a sample sheet. Without that it's difficult to work on PT

Here's the example. My main problem is to have multiple instances of the "same period of time" in the columns, and I can't group them properly. Thanks!

You need to change the way your source data is arranged (Power Pivot might do this for you). See attached.
