View Full Version : How to control formatting external data in 2007?

2016-04-14, 06:08 PM
I'm pulling in data from SQL via a query connection in Excel 2007, but when the data is pulled in it disrupts the headers [adds blank columns] when I am pulling the data in underneeth [row13].
In Excel 2003 the External data connection could be controlled to not change column formatting but I can't find this in 2007?

I don't have 2007, (only go back as far as 2010,) but are you pulling this into an Excel table?

If it is, and you select any cell in the table, you should see a Table Tools tab pop up. On the third group there is a Properties button. In there should be a few options to control how the table loads.

Hope this helps,
