Issues with copying a chart

I created six bar charts and in each chart I have superimposed a midline. When I cut and paste the charts into a word doc, some of them copy over with the midline and others do not. How do I save the chart in order for the entire chart to copy over every time?

If the midline is a separate object then it needs to be selected to be copied.

1. Click on the midline, then Ctrl + click on the chart so they are copied together, then paste in Word.
2. Use the Group function to group the chart and line so they are always copied (and moved) together
3. Suggested approach would be to add a data series (and format that one series as a line) that represents the midline to the chart, so the line is part of the chart, and probably more dynamic if the data is refreshed and changes
