I work for a sales organization and am trying to set up pivot tables in Excel 2013 to track sales by product segment at the customer level - I'd like the table to show the top 10 customers in terms of volume sold, so I sorted the customers by volume and grouped customers ranked 11-500 as 'other'. Works well for Segment 1.
If I copy the table and change the filter to Segment 2, my 'other' customers are different, but if I ungroup 'other' in pivot 2, pivot 1 also ungroups. I've tried a couple of different things, such as reselecting data and creating a new pivot table from the source data, but so far I am not having much luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sean
