List, instead of a dropdown

Hi. I would like to know, if this is possible. When you create a dependent data validation, you would select an item using the 1st dropdown, then the 2nd dropdown would have a set of choice depending on the option you select on the 1st dropdown. But what I want is: I select an option on the 1st dropdown, then instead of providing me a 2nd dropdown, it would show me the complete list for that option instead. Thanks in advance.​
 
Hi Randz77,

Is converting your original data table to a pivot table then inserting slicers from the DATA top taskbar solve your problem? CTRL & SHIFT the items in the slicers that filter for you as you required, as you make your choices?

Or does your original data table need modifying as well?
