I am compiling a chart that shows YouTube views growing over time. I created an area chart using the column of cumulative views. However, even when I set the first column to the "date" format, the graph keeps popping up with cell numbers instead of dates.
If I click on "select data" I can list months manually for the horizontal axis, but then they don't line up properly with the graph.
How can I get the x axis to read the first column as dates, and to list months for the tick marks?
