Hello,
Sorry for my lack of ability to explain this situation, but here we go...
I am using Excel for Mac 2011. I have a very huge pivot table but I will simplify what is going on.
In column A of my data sheet I have groups (Group A, Group B, Group C).
Group A and B have divisions (A-1, A-2, A-3, B-1, etc.) The divisions are listed in Column B
Group C has no divisions
In Column C are the Project names that the groups/divisions are working on.
In Column D are the amounts for the projects.
In my pivot table Groups A and B look great with there divisions. For example:
Group A
But, group C shows blanks, because there are no values in the column that shows divisions
Group C
My question is, how do I keep the divisions for the groups that have them and not show them for the groups that don't? There are actually multiple sub-divisions and divisions of sub-divisions in my actual pivot table. Thank you for your help in advance with this.
