Conditional Formatting trending with Icon Set

I am trying to understand how conditional formatting Icon Sets work. I would like to compare column B to column A, if there is an increase show Green arrow up, if it is the same show arrow side ways, if there is a decrease show arrow down.


How do I do this?

In order for this to work the following procedure must be followed:

create a conditional formatting icon set for 1 cell
edit with the indirect formula
copy formatting
paste formatting cell by cell (whole sections will not work)View attachment conditional formatting.xlsx
