Hi
Is anyone seeing an issue with Excel 2013 where it crashes when you copy a range of data and then try to create a new workbook?
I'm getting this issue quite consistently, however if I create the new workbook first, and THEN copy/paste the data it seems to be ok.
Thanks
Fergal

Same problem exactly!

Fergal--I have the exact same problem. I can copy any number of cells (even a single blank cell) and if I open a new worksheet by any method (I've tried CTRL-N / File>>New>>Blank Sheet / I even tried copying a cell from an Excel object embedded in a Word document) Excel ALWAYS crashes immediately. None of the fixes I've found online have worked. The only part of any solution I've tried that worked is opening Excel 2013 in safe mode--the problem is gone. I disabled all add-ins and tried again and the problem still occurs. I finally gave up and asked our IT department to reinstall Office 2010. My work computer is a Dell OptiPlex 9010 with the following hardware:------------------

Solved!!

My IT department finally solved this issue. We realized that it was only an issue with my user profile. Other users could log onto my machine and Excel wouldn't crash. They logged onto my machine as RootAdmin and deleted my user profile. I logged in again and Excel no longer crashes!

I'm ecstatic, maybe this solution will work for others who have had the same problem.
