Dashboard Creation

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. Ive created a dashboard based on a Pivot, using getpivotdata. In the dashboard i have monthly, quarterly and ytd all compared YOY. I want to be able to link the getpivotdata formulas to free text cell, in which i can type the month, quarter and year.

Any ideas how to do this?!
