Pivot table won't recalculate

I am trying to troubleshoot a pivot table a colleague uses. The pivot table is currently 20,000 rows and is added to monthly. When the most recent month was added the pivot table wouldn't recalculate to include that data. I have checked the data range which was correct, formatted the data as a table and used the table as a range and checked all the field settings to ensure the pivot table is filtered correctly.

I can recreate the pivot table from the data and pull in the entire range, however as there are multiple calculated ranges my colleague doesn't want to do this every month.

Any suggestions?

Well I solved my own problem. The new data was corrupted. The pivot table was actually recalculating but there was no data to bring forth with the filtered criteria for the most current period. Guess that should have been the first thing I checked.

It always seems like it should have been easy once you know what the problem was.
