I am wondering if there is a simpler formula that I would be able to use and avoid the "vlookup" as I would rather link the formula in one cell rather than have to do the extrat step of "vlookup" first.

Also if you can round to "50MMK" but not the the "10ths" it has to be only to "50MMK"

Thank you

Simpler? Not that i know of
=INDEX('Exhange Rates'!$A$1:$B$292;MATCH('Roll UP'!$A3;'Exhange Rates'!$A$1:$A$292;0);2) also works but I wouldn't call it simple ;) (replace the ; with , if you want to use it)

But what's wrong with VLOOKUP ?

Also if you can round to "50MMK" but not the the "10ths" it has to be only to "50MMK"

I don't get this one

The quote is that the money here only has "50 MMK" below 100 MMK. So I cannot round to the nearest 10th as i would have 10-90, and not stopping at 50MMK.

Yes the "Vlookup" seems simpler, especially as I am linking it to other spreadsheets.

Cheers

OTH the INDEX/MATCH combination should be faster if you have large data ranges and is more flexible

As for the 50 MMK my English is too limited. I don't understand, but another member probably will ;);)
