    Please can anyone help with code used in saving file in a VBA environment.

    In what way do you need help?

    Easiest way to find the code is to record a macro to save the file. You can then post the code here and we can help you refine it to make it more robust/appropriate for your purposes.

    Many thanks for your response. What I intend to do basically is to create about 40 workbooks for 40 different dept accounted for in a budget of my coy. I intend to create this workbook automatically but doing this with macros require that I create these workbooks and save them using a file path separator. i did something already but it seems not working.

    Can you post a sample of your code, and if possible the workbook you're using? It would be a lot easier to fix it if we could see how far you've got.
