Hello,

I need a formula which generates a whole number that expresses: How many days from the current date you open spreadsheet to the date in a given cell.

Possible? Thanks excel masters!
 
I think the OP was looking for this formula, but with a "D" in quotes, not "MD".
Code: 
=DATEDIF(A1,TODAY(),"D")
