    OK, another oddity



    Register for a FREE account, and/
    or Log in to avoid these ads!

    Array enter ANY formula in A1, say =0 (ctrl/shift/enter)
    then select A1:B2, merge cells.
    Now re-enter the array-formula in A1.
    You get a strange message: "Array formulas are not valid in Merged Cells".

    Well it was fine before I RE-entered it!

    Okay, that's bizarre. Could be useful for someone who actually merges cells though...
